This Bellingham Bay Craftsman recently received a full gut remodel with custom cabinetry, beautiful crown moulding, and personal touches that will make you feel at home the instant you step through the door. Doyle Custom Building was brought in to create statement built-ins that would complement the original charm of this house with a modern feel. We worked with designer Lisa Staton and the homeowners to craft functional and eye-catching cabinetry that would last a lifetime. The full scope of this project includes a fireplace focal piece, bathroom cabinetry, built-in desks for the entire family, a bespoke wine cellar, outbuildings, and trim work throughout the house.
Design Highlight
Fireplace Highlight:
The fireplace was designed to be the eye-catcher as you enter the living space. Featuring crown mouldings that integrate seamlessly with the trim work, bead-board backing, and a beautiful mantle this fireplace fits perfectly into the space.
Wine Cellar Highlight:
With every inch of this space covered in bespoke cabinetry, the wine cellar had a speakeasy vibe and accommodates over 400 bottles and 22 boxes of wine. We also incorporated a white wine fridge and room temperature controller to keep each bottle in pristine condition.
